Singapore Motorshow 2026 will open in six days, returning from Jan 8 to 11 at the Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre with its largest electric vehicle (EV) showcase to date.
Spanning 21,000 square metres across four levels — including the newly added Level 6 — the annual event will feature more than 40 automotive brands, with over 95 per cent showcasing electric or hybrid models. Organisers said the strong EV presence reflects the industry’s shift towards sustainable mobility and aligns with Singapore’s target of cleaner-energy vehicles by 2040.
EVs Dominate Singapore Motorshow 2026
Brands bringing electric or electrified models include Audi, BMW, BYD, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, Toyota, Volvo, XPENG and Zeekr, alongside newer Chinese marques such as AVATR, DEEPAL, IM Motors and Leapmotor. Hybrid models will also be on show from Yangwang and Denza.
Organisers said the 2026 edition highlights the widening range of EV offerings in Singapore, from mass-market hatchbacks to premium SUVs and performance models, as competition in the segment intensifies.
New Model Launches and Market Debuts
Most exhibitors will unveil new models during the Singapore Motorshow 2026. A key highlight is Hongqi’s official Singapore debut in partnership with Eurokars Group. The Chinese luxury marque will showcase its flagship E-HS9 electric SUV, alongside the ultra-luxury Guoli and Guoya models.
Visitors can also take part in an interactive launch activity at the Hongqi booth, with a chance to win E-HS9 model cars.

Lucky Draw Features All-Electric Grand Prize
The event’s grand lucky draw prize is the Dongfeng Box, billed as Singapore’s best-selling electric hatchback. The all-electric model features frameless doors, an automatic parking system and a 12.8-inch central display.
The draw will be held on Jan 11 at 9pm, with the winner announced on the Singapore Motorshow’s official social media channels and website on Jan 21. The prize includes the Additional Registration Fee (ARF) but excludes the Certificate of Entitlement (COE) and other charges.
Celebrity Appearances and Interactive Activities
Visitors can also meet Mediacorp celebrities including Elvin Ng, Paige Chua, Herman Keh and Dennis Chew, who will make scheduled appearances for photo opportunities during the four-day event.
Interactive attractions include the InTrigg Hobbies Slot Car Racing Challenge on Level 6, where visitors can compete in daily time trials on a 1:32-scale track. Additional booth-specific activities include a Lexus craftsmanship showcase and giveaways at the Forland booth.
The Singapore Motorshow 2026 runs from Jan 8 to 11, with public tickets required for entry. Organisers said further announcements on on-site promotions and brand-specific launches will be released closer to opening day.
