NCS partners Mistral AI, VAST Data and humanoid robotics firms for public safety AI

OTSAW Selects Cradlepoint Wireless Networking Solution for Connected Robots

NCS, the Singapore-based AI tech services company and Singtel subsidiary, has announced four new partnerships aimed at strengthening its mission-critical AI capabilities for public safety across Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region.

The partnerships — spanning AI models, data infrastructure, psychological analytics, and humanoid robotics — were announced on 28 April at the Milipol TechX (MTX) conference in Singapore.

The four partnerships

NCS and Mistral AI will collaborate to deliver AI solutions for organisations in highly regulated and secure environments, combining NCS’ systems integration capabilities with Mistral’s customisable AI models. The partnership is intended to help government and enterprise clients deploy AI that is ready for live operational use.

NCS and VAST Data will deploy VAST’s AI Operating System to create a unified, real-time data foundation for AI-powered video analytics. The architecture is designed to eliminate data silos and support faster decision-making in mission-critical command environments.

NCS and Lian Xin will apply AI-based psychological analytics to public safety operations. Use cases include detecting atypical behavioural states in border control, correctional facilities, and investigative interviews, as well as supporting officer recruitment, training, and shift coordination.

NCS, AGIBOT, and Anhui Huazhi Tiancheng Technology (HZTC) formalised a Memorandum of Understanding earlier this month to advance Physical AI — combining NCS’ systems integration expertise with AGIBOT’s humanoid platforms and HZTC’s customisation capabilities for deployment in complex, high-risk operational environments.

Context: AI for government and public safety

NCS positions the announcements as part of a broader strategy to deliver AI systems that government agencies can rely on in real operational conditions, rather than in controlled or experimental settings.

“Public safety environments demand a high level of reliability, which is why technology must be built and deployed for live, operational use. These partnerships bring together the right expertise — from data infrastructure and advanced intelligence to Physical AI — to build mission-critical AI systems that public safety agencies can rely on.” — Sam Liew, CEO, NCS

NCS employs approximately 15,000 people across the Asia-Pacific. The Milipol TechX summit, co-organised by Singapore’s Home Team Science and Technology Agency, focuses on advanced security and public safety technologies.
