NCS Partners AGIBOT and Huazhi Tiancheng to Deploy Humanoid Robots Across APAC

NCS has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with humanoid robotics manufacturer AGIBOT and systems integrator Anhui Huazhi Tiancheng Technology Co (HZTC) to develop and deploy humanoid robotics solutions for government and enterprise clients across Singapore and the Asia Pacific.

The MOU was signed at the AGIBOT Partner Conference 2026 in Shanghai on 17 April 2026.

What the partnership covers

The three-way collaboration brings together AGIBOT’s humanoid robotics platforms and embodied AI capabilities, NCS’ expertise in large-scale systems integration and mission-critical deployments, and HZTC’s customisation know-how. NCS and HZTC will work together to integrate and localise AGIBOT’s solutions — including language and behaviour adaptation — for regional operating environments.

Planned use cases span social services, smart buildings, and public safety, with pilots across both public and private sector clients. The robots will draw on AI-powered perception, full-body coordinated movement, precise object handling, real-time mapping, navigation, and edge computing — capabilities that AGIBOT describes as enabling robots to “see, think, and act” in complex real-world environments.

Why Singapore, why now

Sam Liew, CEO of NCS, said the partnership is designed to help public agencies and enterprises deploy Physical AI with confidence in real-world settings.

“As humanoid robots transition from prototypes into day-to-day use, safety and reliability are key. By combining AGIBOT’s humanoid platforms with NCS’ deep industry sector expertise and proven track record in delivering mission-critical systems, we enable public agencies and enterprises across Singapore and the Asia Pacific to deploy Physical AI confidently in real-world environments,” said Liew.

Abel Deng, President of AGIBOT’s Asia-Pacific and Middle East region, described Singapore as the ideal launchpad for the company’s expansion beyond China. AGIBOT crossed the milestone of its 10,000th robot rollout in March 2026.

Michael Chen, CEO of HZTC, said the collaboration would set new benchmarks for large-scale humanoid robot deployment through industry-led use cases.

NCS doubles down on Physical AI

The partnership reinforces NCS’ push into Physical AI — a strategic priority for the Singtel subsidiary, which operates a team of 15,000 across the Asia Pacific. The deal expands NCS’ position as a systems integrator in the humanoid robotics space as enterprise demand for Physical AI accelerates globally.
