Trust Bank has expanded its investment offering with a new trading platform that allows customers to buy and sell US stocks and exchange-traded funds (ETFs) directly through the Trust App.
The platform builds on TrustInvest, which launched earlier this year to simplify investing for retail customers in Singapore.
Fractional trading comes to Singapore banking apps
According to Trust, the new feature will make it the first banking app in Singapore to offer fractional trading, allowing users to invest in portions of shares rather than full units.
This means investors can start with smaller amounts and still gain exposure to high-priced US equities and ETFs. A single share of companies such as Netflix or Meta, for example, can cost over S$500.
“Offering fractional trading means that all our customers can access a wide range of investments, with the confidence of doing so through an easy-to-use and seamless banking app,” said Dwaipayan Sadhu, Chief Executive Officer of Trust Bank.
ETFs and US stocks within the Trust App
The expanded TrustInvest trading platform supports trading in US-listed equities and ETFs, which provide a convenient way to diversify investments by holding multiple assets in one trade. These can include index-tracking funds, digital asset funds and sector-focused products.
All transactions and funding will occur within the Trust App, removing the need to transfer money between multiple investment platforms. The bank described the experience as “simple, seamless and secure.”
Waitlist now open

Trust has opened a waitlist for its new trading platform. Existing customers can register through the Trust App, with eligibility to be assessed upon application for a stocks account.
New users can open a Trust Savings account within minutes using the bank’s digital onboarding process before joining the waitlist.
Trust said that access to the new trading platform will be rolled out to waitlisted customers “over the coming weeks.”
The move marks Trust Bank’s latest step in broadening its financial services since its launch in 2022 as a digital bank backed by Standard Chartered and FairPrice Group. The expansion of TrustInvest is expected to strengthen its position in Singapore’s growing digital wealth management sector, as local banks and fintechs compete to make investing more accessible.
