As Europe’s mid-sized manufacturers grapple with mounting supply chain pressure and outdated software, French startup Bonx has raised US$8.6 million in seed funding to help them digitise faster and more efficiently.
Announced on Monday, the funding round was led by 9900 Capital, with backing from Kima Ventures, Purple, OSS Ventures, and Dynamo Ventures. Bonx, founded in 2022 by Alexandre Barroux and Rémi Beges, is positioning itself as the operational backbone for Europe’s industrial sector, offering a next-generation ERP (enterprise resource planning) system purpose-built for manufacturing.
Traditional ERP systems, still in use across many European factories, are increasingly seen as bottlenecks—slow to implement, rigid in design, and often requiring extensive customisation. Bonx promises a faster, AI-powered alternative that can be deployed in as little as three weeks, enabling manufacturers to digitise their operations without overhauling their entire tech stack.
“Our mission remains clear: empower manufacturers to simplify and take control of their operations through technology that adapts to their precise needs,” said Bonx CEO Alexandre Barroux. “This funding propels us into our next phase — becoming Europe’s definitive ERP leader for mid-sized manufacturers.”

Bonx’s platform integrates seamlessly with existing finance and CRM systems, while giving manufacturers better visibility and control over production, logistics, procurement, and quality. Its no-code configuration and visual, modular interface are aimed not just at IT departments, but also shop floor teams and supply chain managers.
The company is already being used by manufacturers in France, Italy and Spain, including suppliers to Décathlon and new-generation brands like French Bloom. Barroux said the new capital will accelerate Bonx’s expansion in Italy and Spain — two key markets in Europe’s manufacturing landscape — and fuel further product development.
“Manufacturers don’t have to replace the systems they’re accustomed to; Bonx complements and enhances their stack and acts as their operational backbone,” added Rémi Beges, Bonx’s CTO.
Bonx was incubated within OSS Ventures, a Paris-based startup studio that builds software for industrial companies. Its focus on speed and interoperability resonates in a sector under pressure from regulatory shifts, fragmented supplier networks, and rising sustainability demands.
“Bonx is redefining the ERP landscape by combining extraordinary implementation speeds with genuinely impactful AI-driven capabilities,” said Juliette Sylvain, Principal at 9900 Capital. “We are excited to support Bonx as it sets a new industry standard and scales across Europe.”
