TL;DR: CrowdStrike has unveiled its new office in Singapore, reinforcing its commitment to the region and doubling its capacity. The expansion comes as CrowdStrike reports a 36% YoY increase in Asia Pacific revenue for Q3 FY2024, reaching $81 million. The office will serve as a central hub, featuring training facilities to empower cybersecurity professionals against evolving threats. Geoff Swaine, VP of APJ for CrowdStrike, stresses the urgency for businesses in Asia to adopt advanced cybersecurity solutions in the face of escalating cybercriminal activity.
Cybersecurity leader CrowdStrike announced the opening of a new office in Singapore, positioned as a central hub for its operations in Asia. This expansion underscores the company’s strategic regional investment and will double the capacity of its previous facilities in Singapore.
The move aligns with CrowdStrike’s dedication to safeguarding organizations in Singapore and across Asia. The company, headquartered in the U.S., boasts over 23,000 customers globally and is recognized as one of the world’s fastest-growing and innovative security firms.
The new office will house training facilities, enabling CrowdStrike customers and partners to share best practices on the latest cyber defense strategies. This initiative aims to upskill cybersecurity professionals, enhancing their ability to counter adversaries targeting the region.
CrowdStrike’s decision to expand follows substantial business success in Asia, reflected in its Q3 FY2024 financial results. The company reported $81 million in revenue in the Asia Pacific region (including Japan), marking a significant 36% YoY increase compared to the same quarter in the previous fiscal year.

Geoff Swaine, VP of APJ for CrowdStrike, emphasized the escalating cyber-criminal activity in Asia, particularly in Southeast Asia.
“Asia is a hotbed for cyber-criminal activity. We saw average ransomware demands in Southeast Asia more than doubled in the last four weeks to $8.5million compared to the four weeks prior. With all of this activity, it’s critical that businesses in Asia adopt modern cybersecurity solutions and a proactive approach to protecting themselves to combat adversaries targeting countries like Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia,” Geoff said.
“We saw this need when we first established an office in Singapore in 2016 and have continued to grow our team and business in the region. Over that time, CrowdStrike has supported many businesses across multiple sectors and sizes in the shift from using legacy, often signature- based, security solutions that are unable to protect against modern cyber-attacks towards AI- driven and intelligence-based cybersecurity platforms,” he added.
