CrowdStrike has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with PT Telkom Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, Indonesia’s largest technology and telecommunications provider, to deliver AI-powered protection and managed security services across the archipelago.

The collaboration brings together the AI-native CrowdStrike Falcon platform and CrowdStrike’s security services with Telkom’s local market expertise and its extensive base of Indonesian public and private sector customers. As part of the tie-up, Telkom plans to standardise its own cyber defences on the Falcon platform.

Joint Team to Secure AI Agents and Models

Both companies intend to establish a joint team focused on co-developing solutions to secure AI agents, models and systems — an area both firms flagged as critical as Indonesian organisations increasingly adopt enterprise AI. The partnership will also explore Falcon AI Detection and Response (AIDR), which offers runtime visibility from the endpoint where AI executes.

Strengthening Indonesia’s Cyber Resilience

For Telkom, the tie-up is aimed at hardening the company’s own security capabilities as well as those of its broad customer base against increasingly sophisticated attacks.

The MoU marks an early step in what both companies describe as a broader push to modernise cybersecurity across Indonesia as AI adoption accelerates across the region’s public and private sectors.
