Womanizer, a company promoting sexual happiness and self-love for women worldwide, has been banned from Instagram.

Instagram’s guidelines appear arbitrary, reinforcing traditional gender roles and hindering women’s ability to reclaim their bodies and sexuality for their own pleasure. Womanizer’s suspension is not an isolated incident, as other accounts promoting pleasure, particularly female pleasure, have faced similar issues.

Besides facing obstacles in maintaining their social media presence, Womanizer must also follow a rigorous appeals process mandated by Instagram. This policy allows only a limited 30-day period for accounts to appeal their suspension, which can hinder Womanizer’s ability to promote sexual wellness and empowerment.

Despite these setbacks, Womanizer remains dedicated to promoting female empowerment and dismantling the taboos surrounding female sexuality. To fight against the suspension of their Instagram account, Womanizer has launched the #UnmutePleasure campaign in collaboration with sister brands Lovehoney and We-Vibe. The campaign seeks support from their followers, customers, and fans and urges them to oppose Instagram’s discriminatory policies.

Womanizer is calling on its supporters to raise their voices in protest and reach out to Instagram to demand the restoration of their empowering community. Through this campaign, Womanizer hopes to continue promoting sexual wellness and empowerment for women worldwide.
