Fred Technologies have launched their latest smart mirror called Allure that integrates useful applications to enhance makeup and skincare experience.

Jonathan Yuan, CEO and founder, FRED Technologies said:

“The new Allure is yet another product that we believe will become a much-loved beauty assistant for the discerning consumers. We are continuing to work with more partners both in terms of apps and beauty hardware, through our built-in software upgrading paths, so that the Allure, as well as its larger sibling the Mirror, will become more useful even over time.”

Allure resolves your lighting issue

One of the usual frustrations that people have when it comes to putting on makeup is the lighting in the room. With Allure’s “Natural Sunlight” feature and its LumiereMax rim lighting that mirrors (no pun intended) the sunlight, this frustration could be eliminated.

Mix-and-match lipstick

Allure also comes pre-loaded with the Sephora app’s “Virtual Reality” feature that “overlays simulated lipstick on the user’s face.” The built-in 8MP camera scans the face of the user into the system and when in use, the user can mix-and-match the ideal lipstick for the day, reducing the number of bad-lips-colour days.

If you like the lipstick, you can purchase it directly from your mirror with a few presses.

Monitors your menstrual cycles

The smartness of Allure does not just stop here. The mirror is also pre-loaded with the Flo Period Tracker app that helps its female users to monitor their menstrual cycle, keeping them updated daily on the stage of their cycle that they are currently at.
