GoDaddy has launched their own Website Builder targeting small and medium enterprises to drive traffic to their personal, business or e-commerce websites. Websites that are built on the GoDaddy platform will be mobile-optimised and will have a set of marketing and e-commerce tools to make creating websites more hassle-free for revenue-focused companies.
According to the press release, users with little technical expertise can easily “design a professional website in just under an hour, even on a smartphone or a tablet.” This is extremely useful since you are able to build it on-the-go. Like many other website builders, the GoDaddy’s version also has a range of almost-ready templates for you to choose from.
Don’t worry if you do not have images on hand to make your websites more attractive because GoDaddy has you covered with a huge library of incredible photos thanks to their partnership with GettyImages.
With “smart algorithms and machine learning”, users will expect “helpful suggestions for optimising customer engagement and generating results.”
Steven Aldrich, Chief Product Officer, GoDaddy said that the GoDaddy’s Website Builder will help business owners to reduce the time spent focusing on designing a website so that they can focus on generating revenue.

Price: SGD 263.88 annually - Online store – this is another category altogether. We are talking about e-commerce here. So on top of what you get for Business Plus, there will be a Built-in shopping cart, payment platforms like PayPal, Apple and etc., Configuration of shipping and tax rates and Abandoned cart recovery. Woah… Squarespace, meet your nemesis.
