SoftwareOne and Crayon have completed the integration of their channel businesses across Asia-Pacific (APAC) under the SoftwareOne brand, creating a single channel organisation for technology partners in the region.
The companies announced the move in Singapore on 12 October 2026. The combined business brings together partner and vendor relationships with expertise in software asset management, cloud, cybersecurity, data and AI, and managed and technical services.
What the APAC channel integration means for partners
Partners keep ownership of their customer relationships and continue to work with the teams they know, while gaining access to a wider pool of specialists. These include solution architects, security and vendor specialists, bid support, and practice development and technical expertise across cloud, security, AI and productivity.
SoftwareOne’s services model supports delivery to, through and with partners. Services can be delivered under a partner’s own brand, or jointly with SoftwareOne on larger or more complex engagements.
Varun Paliwal, President of APAC at SoftwareOne, said: “For us, the measure of success is not simply the scale of the combined business. It is whether we can create more services opportunities for our partners, help them respond to their customers and support them as they grow.”
Cloud platform and partner programmes
Partners also gain access to SoftwareOne’s Cloud-iQ platform, which covers subscription management, automated billing, usage intelligence and business insights for cloud and software subscriptions.
Two programmes are highlighted. Partner Connections links resellers with specialist delivery partners so they can pursue opportunities that would be difficult to win alone. The ISV Innovation Hub supports partners that want to commercialise their own intellectual property through vendor marketplaces, incentives and development support. The combined channel will also continue to offer market insight, vendor programme guidance, certifications and practice development.
SoftwareOne operates in more than 70 countries with around 12,000 people, and offers access to more than 7,500 software vendors through its global marketplace.
Demand for AI and cloud expertise is rising
The companies point to growing technology spending as the driver. They cited IDC as expecting ICT spending in the region to reach US$647 billion in 2026, with spending on AI and generative AI projected to reach US$370 billion by 2029, a compound annual growth rate of 38.4 per cent.
Vikas Bhonsle, Head of Channel for APAC at SoftwareOne, said: “We can bring more expertise into their opportunities, more services into their portfolio and more connections into their ecosystem.”
