Kyndryl has appointed Megawaty Khie as Vice President and Managing Director for ASEAN and Korea, putting her in charge of the company’s business across the region as enterprises there modernise their IT systems for AI.

Megawaty succeeds Andrew Lim, who has moved into a senior leadership role covering the wider Asia-Pacific region. She joins Kyndryl from Avanade, where she was regional managing director for Southeast Asia, after earlier stints leading channels and strategic partnerships for Google Cloud in Southeast Asia and serving as Google’s regional director for Indonesia and Malaysia.

More than two decades in the region

Megawaty brings more than 25 years of technology leadership experience, with roles at Microsoft, SAP, IBM, HP, Dell and Singtel spanning enterprise, small-to-medium business and consumer markets. In her new role, she will lead Kyndryl’s business across ASEAN and Korea, with a focus on strengthening customer relationships and helping organisations build the technology foundations they need to support their priorities.
