Grab is linking its ride-hailing and delivery data directly into expense software, as Southeast Asian companies wrestle with a travel spending surge that many still track by hand.
Grab For Business, the ride-hailing giant’s enterprise platform, announced an integration with SAP Concur Expense on 14 September, letting eligible rides, meals and deliveries flow automatically into expense reports instead of being logged manually.
A regional travel boom outpacing the paperwork

The timing tracks a broader shift in business travel. Asia Pacific spending on the category is projected to reach US$700.9 billion in 2026, according to the Global Business Travel Association, making the region the world’s largest business travel market.
Yet the infrastructure to manage that spending hasn’t kept up. Research commissioned by Grab For Business and GBTA found that while 95 percent of business travellers across Southeast Asia use ride-hailing services, only 58 percent of organisations have formal mechanisms to manage that spending within corporate travel programmes. The same study found 57 percent of travellers delay submitting expense reports or see the process as a burden, and nearly half spend more than 20 minutes completing a single report after each trip.
Automating the paper trail
The integration is meant to close that gap by syncing eligible Grab For Business transactions directly into Concur Expense, cutting down on manual entry and giving finance teams more visibility into where travel budgets are going.
“We’re connecting business mobility with expense management in one seamless experience,” said Valerie Khoo, Regional Head of Grab For Business.
The integration is now live in the SAP Concur App Center and available to all Grab For Business customers across Southeast Asia. Grab For Business says it already serves more than 26,000 organisations in the region.
