Huawei Cloud has announced the commercial launch of CodeArts Agent in Singapore, an AI-powered coding platform built around 16 specialised agents that span the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and architecture design to coding, testing and code review.

The launch was unveiled at Huawei Cloud AI Boost Day Singapore, where the company set out its “AI Builder Paradigm” for enterprise software development. Huawei Cloud said the tool is designed for complex, large-scale software projects, combining code models, integrated development environment (IDE) capabilities and autonomous development workflows.

16 Agents Across the Development Lifecycle

CodeArts Agent’s core differentiator is its Agent Team feature, which coordinates 16 specialised agents to emulate the workflow of a professional engineering team. The platform can autonomously plan and execute long-duration development tasks, drawing on more than 30 reusable engineering skills derived from Huawei’s internal software practices.

Early Bird Programme for Local Enterprises

To support adoption, Huawei Cloud has introduced the Singapore CodeArts Agent Early Bird Program, offering eligible enterprise users three months of complimentary access to the Professional Edition, alongside one-on-one coaching from local experts and enablement services.

“Huawei Cloud will continue to deepen its presence in Singapore, advancing our Agentic AI strategy through closer integration of software and hardware, while building a comprehensive technology stack spanning AIDC, Agentic Infrastructure, Model as a Service (MaaS), and agent development platforms,” Tao added, describing the approach as a “Silicon-Based Black Soil” foundation for enterprise AI innovation.

The commercial rollout marks Huawei Cloud’s latest step in expanding its AI-powered software development portfolio across the region, as developers increasingly move from basic code completion tools toward multi-agent collaboration on daily engineering tasks.
