Tech Data, a TD SYNNEX company, has expanded its IBM distribution footprint across Asia Pacific, extending its specialised IBM practice to 10 markets in the region.
The expansion adds Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Indonesia, Cambodia and the Philippines to Tech Data‘s existing footprint in Australia, India, Singapore and Vietnam. It is part of TD SYNNEX‘s broader global expansion of its IBM distribution relationship, which spans 20 new countries across Asia Pacific, Europe and Latin America.
Select Blue extends AI enablement to more partners
The wider footprint gives more channel partners access to Select Blue, a joint initiative with IBM designed to help partners specialise in high-growth areas such as AI, data and automation. Tech Data said the programme provides a structured framework for partners to build scalable, repeatable practices, backed by enablement, financing, pre-sales and go-to-market support.

Consistent framework, local execution
“With this expansion, we are extending our reach into additional markets while connecting with a broader set of partners looking to grow their IBM business. And through our program Select Blue, we’re providing a clear path to engage, specialize, and execute confidently, helping both new and existing partners enter new markets and accelerate revenue growth,” said Mark Martin, VP, Global Vendor Management, TD SYNNEX.
Execution across all markets will follow a globally consistent framework with local delivery, supported by scalable processes and performance accountability, the company said.
