Everpure, the storage and data management company formerly known as Pure Storage, has secured a design win and supply agreement with a second top-five hyperscale cloud provider, extending its DirectFlash storage technology into two of the largest infrastructure environments in the world. The customer’s identity was not disclosed.

The agreement builds on Everpure’s first hyperscaler design win, announced in late 2024, and comes as global cloud providers race to free up power and rack space for AI workloads — a challenge that is increasingly shaping data centre investment decisions across markets including Singapore, one of Asia’s key hyperscale hubs.

DirectFlash’s software-driven pitch to hyperscalers

Everpure’s DirectFlash technology writes software directly to raw flash rather than relying on standard solid-state drives, which the company says enables a consistent, unified storage architecture across multiple performance tiers. It said the approach helps hyperscalers lower operational costs while reclaiming power and rack space for AI and next-generation workloads.

A newly addressable market for hyperscale storage

Everpure said the deal expands its footprint in what it describes as a large, newly addressable hyperscale market, as cloud providers look for storage architectures that can keep pace with AI-driven demand for compute and power.

“By delivering unmatched density, performance, and reliability, Everpure empowers hyperscalers to drastically lower operational costs while reclaiming vital power and rack space for AI and next-generation workloads,” the company said in its announcement.

The company said all information in the announcement is current as of 10 August 2026 and that it does not intend to update the disclosure unless required by law. Everpure is scheduled to discuss its second-quarter fiscal 2027 results on an upcoming earnings call later this month.
