Rimini Street, a third-party support provider for Oracle, SAP and VMware software, has been selected by Indonesia’s VIVERE Group to support its SAP ECC environment as the interior and furnishing solutions provider weighs its next move on enterprise software.

PT Gema Graham Sarana Tbk, the Indonesia Stock Exchange-listed core company of VIVERE Group, runs SAP ECC 6 on IBM Db2 as a critical platform supporting operations across project-based work, manufacturing and distribution. Founded in 1984, the company faced the end of support for its ECC system and a push to migrate to SAP S/4HANA.

Gartner input steered VIVERE away from a costly upgrade

After consulting Gartner on its roadmap options, VIVERE determined that its investments would be better allocated to innovation rather than a costly, time-consuming upgrade to S/4HANA. It selected Rimini Support for SAP to maintain business continuity, strengthen support for its ECC environment and free up internal IT resources for digital transformation initiatives.
