Vertiv convened more than 300 channel and distribution partners from across Asia at its 10th annual Asia Partner Summit, held under the theme “Metamorph” at The Westin Desaru Coast in Johor, Malaysia.

The four-day conference focused on equipping partners to capture opportunities from AI, high-performance computing (HPC), edge computing and data infrastructure modernisation across the region. Sessions covered sovereign and enterprise AI deployments, liquid cooling technologies, integrated modular solutions and next-generation power and thermal management systems, reflecting the rising power and cooling demands of compute-intensive AI workloads.

“Metamorph is more than a summit theme – it reflects how our industry must evolve with purpose as AI and high-performance computing reshape customer expectations across Asia. Manufacturing capacity and partner recognition

Attendees toured Vertiv’s newly opened Johor manufacturing facility, which supports growing regional demand for AI and digital infrastructure. The summit also hosted the Partner Recognition Awards, honouring organisations for sales performance, technical leadership and market development. NVIDIA and Dell Technologies received 2025 Strategic Partnership Awards, while distributors including Tech Data Singapore and OGX Networks Malaysia, and partners such as EON Korea and Opencom Vietnam, were recognised for sales growth and achievement.

Asia, as defined by Vertiv for the summit, spans Southeast Asia, Japan, Korea, and Australia and New Zealand. The event underscores how infrastructure vendors are leaning on channel ecosystems to keep pace with regional AI adoption, as enterprises across the region navigate rising power and cooling requirements tied to increasingly compute-intensive workloads.
