Kyndryl has launched Kyndryl AI Orchestration for Business, a new capability built on its Agentic AI Framework designed to help enterprises move agentic AI beyond isolated pilots and into day-to-day operations.
The capability is aimed at industries such as retail, consumer packaged goods, travel and transportation, where supply chain disruptions, demand shifts and customer expectations require faster, more coordinated decision-making. It autonomously coordinates AI agents across supply chain, commerce, finance, IT and customer operations, while maintaining business rules, auditability and human oversight.
Moving agentic AI from pilots to operations
Enterprises are moving fast to embrace AI, but most are stuck in isolated pilots that don’t change or improve their daily operations. Kyndryl AI Orchestration for Business helps companies bring order and clarity to AI complexity — coordinating how AI agents act across business functions, with clear guardrails and human oversight. That means fewer disruptions, faster decisions and the ability to protect and grow revenue and customer loyalty as AI becomes part of how the business runs, said Rachel Calhoun, Vice President and Global Retail, CPG, and Travel and Transportation Leader at Kyndryl.
Rather than reacting to issues after they occur, the system gives leaders and frontline teams proactive alerts, recommended actions and embedded agentic workflows that let them intervene or approve automated actions before disruptions reach customers or revenue.
Key use cases for AI orchestration
Kyndryl AI Orchestration for Business supports agentic workflows across several areas of enterprise operations, including agentic commerce that connects supply chain, pricing, promotions and customer engagement; proactive supply chain disruption management that flags supply risks and financial exposure in real time; role-based operational orchestration that routes alerts and recommendations to demand planners, supply chain leaders and pricing teams; and policy-driven execution that embeds operational and regulatory rules directly into agent workflows using policy as code, with full transparency into how decisions are made.
The capability is cloud and large language model-agnostic, integrates with existing enterprise platforms, and can operate with or without managed services tools. Kyndryl Consult will help customers design, deliver and deploy the offering, drawing on the company’s experience running mission-critical systems across hybrid cloud, on-premises and edge environments.
