Tencent Cloud has partnered with retail solutions provider UXSoft Global Limited to deliver a large-scale smart retail transformation for Hung Fook Tong, Hong Kong’s largest Chinese herbal product retailer by store count, migrating the brand’s mission-critical point-of-sale systems across more than 100 retail outlets to the cloud.
The partnership was announced at Tencent Cloud Day Hong Kong on 3 June 2026. The migration creates a resilient infrastructure spanning Infrastructure-as-a-Service, SMS, networking, and security services, integrated with UXSoft’s advanced POS solution to form a unified retail management hub.
Real-Time Inventory and AI-Driven Membership
Hung Fook Tong’s transformation centred on three operational priorities: real-time inventory visibility for perishable products such as herbal drinks and soups, a flexible promotional engine, and a strengthened membership ecosystem. Powered by UXSoft’s retail management system on Tencent Cloud, the brand can now optimise inventory rotation and minimise waste across its network, while an AI-driven membership system deepens customer loyalty at scale.
