TP Expands AI Data Services Across APAC to Meet Localisation Demand

TP (formerly Teleperformance) is deepening its AI data services capabilities across Asian markets, responding to rising enterprise demand for AI systems trained in local languages and built to comply with evolving in-country data residency and governance requirements. The expansion was showcased at Asia Tech x Singapore 2026 this week, where the company delivered two sessions on its AI-led services strategy.

The push centres on TP.ai Data Services, an end-to-end AI data solution that covers data collection, validation, annotation, labelling, model evaluation and human-in-the-loop governance. TP has specialist AI practitioners distributed across Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, China, Japan, South Korea and Vietnam, positioning the company as a locally embedded partner for enterprises scaling AI across the region’s fragmented regulatory and linguistic landscape.

Data Quality and Localisation as the Enterprise AI Bottleneck

“The companies seeing real operational impact from AI in Asia are the ones investing in scalable data foundations, in-country execution and human expertise alongside the technology itself,” said Dave Rizzo, APAC President at TP.

The company cited a recent client deployment as evidence of its execution capability: within three weeks, TP built customised warehouse video streams annotated with object labels and dimensional data, enabling a client to train physical AI models for real-time worker safety risk detection — a use case that illustrates the intersection of operational AI and local data expertise.

Award Recognition and Measurable Business Outcomes

TP’s data analytics services were named Overall Data Analytics Platform of the Year at the 2026 Data Breakthrough Awards, with the recognition citing measurable performance improvements across client engagements, including up to 31% gains in customer experience quality scores, 30% lift in sales conversions, 20% improvement in resource forecasting accuracy and 15% gains in workforce efficiency.

At Asia Tech x Singapore, TP’s Chief Business Development and Customer Officer for APAC, Assaf Tarnopolsky, joined the panel discussion “The Enterprise AI Execution Challenge”, while CTO Jonathan Phang and Head of Value Creation Office Michael Costevec delivered a keynote on AI orchestration in complex Asian markets — covering the strategic shift from AI operations to AI orchestration.

Beyond client services, TP is also investing in internal AI readiness across its APAC workforce, with upskilling programmes focused on model evaluation, synthetic data, human-in-the-loop and human-on-the-loop orchestration, and AI governance frameworks.
