Everpure positions storage layer as last line of defence in AI-era cyber resilience

One Identity Offers Free Security Risk Assessment to SolarWinds Customers and Free Safeguard for Proactive Privilege Defense

Everpure has reinforced its Enterprise Data Cloud vision, positioning the storage layer as the definitive last line of defence in modern cyber resilience – an approach it calls outside-in security that assumes perimeter failure from the outset.

The company argues that as AI enables faster and more sophisticated attacks, security teams can no longer rely solely on perimeter defences. Everpure’s architecture uses immutable snapshots to guarantee instant recovery while placing human oversight at the governance gate, meaning recovery can be immediate but data destruction requires verified multi-party authorisation.

Three core outcomes

Everpure’s Enterprise Data Cloud is designed to deliver three outcomes: autonomous resilience, which maintains continuous operations through upgrades and active attacks via its Everpure Protect and Everpure Fusion services; trusted recovery, which enforces a Human-in-the-Loop mandate requiring out-of-band authorisation for any sensitive data action; and economic predictability, which replaces the ransom-versus-recovery gamble with subscription-based infrastructure through its Evergreen//One programme.

The company cites data showing 72% of ransomware-affected organisations never fully recover their data, and notes the average cost of a data breach has reached $4.44 million.

Contextual intelligence via 1touch acquisition

Everpure has completed the acquisition of 1touch, adding continuous data discovery to its platform. The integration gives customers a 360-degree view of their data landscape, allowing recovery to prioritise the most critical operations by mapping the links between business applications and underlying data.

As a proof point, the company cited a Fortune 100 organisation that suffered a malware-free attack using stolen credentials. Everpure’s strict administrative separation prevented attackers from accessing protected snapshots even with global administrator privileges, enabling revenue-critical operations to be restored in hours rather than weeks.

We are giving our customers the certainty that no matter what happens at the perimeter, the heartbeat of their business stays strong, said Prakash Darji, General Manager of Digital Experience at Everpure.
