ServiceNow Unveils Advanced AI Agents to Transform Enterprise Automation

ServiceNow, a leading AI platform for business transformation, has launched a suite of AI-driven innovations designed to tackle complex enterprise challenges autonomously. The newly introduced AI Agent Orchestrator and AI Agent Studio aim to transform how organizations deploy and manage AI agents, creating a centralized hub for orchestrating intelligent automation.

These latest innovations position ServiceNow as the “AI agent control tower,” enabling businesses to seamlessly analyze, manage, and govern AI-driven workflows across departments. The launch builds on ServiceNow’s 20-year expertise in automation and business process optimization, expanding AI’s role beyond simple chatbots to fully autonomous, multi-functional agents.

AI Agent Orchestrator: Driving Enterprise-Wide AI Collaboration

Unlike conventional AI tools that operate in silos, ServiceNow’s AI Agent Orchestrator facilitates seamless coordination among AI agents. These specialized agents can now communicate, share data, and execute workflows across various enterprise functions—including IT, customer service, and HR—without human intervention.

For example, onboarding a new customer typically requires coordination across multiple departments, from legal teams drafting contracts to support teams managing service requests. AI Agent Orchestrator ensures these processes flow smoothly, integrating AI agents across multiple systems to achieve a shared goal. Similarly, in cybersecurity, the orchestrator can coordinate AI agents to detect threats, devise solutions, and execute response plans with minimal human input.

AI Agent Studio: No-Code Customization for Enterprise AI

To further empower organizations, ServiceNow introduced AI Agent Studio, a no-code tool that enables businesses to create and deploy custom AI agents using simple natural language prompts. With AI Agent Studio, users can define the goals and processes they want AI to automate without writing a single line of code.

By integrating with ServiceNow’s Workflow Data Fabric, AI agents can access structured and unstructured enterprise data in real time, enhancing their decision-making and execution capabilities. This seamless data connectivity allows businesses to automate workflows efficiently while maintaining compliance and governance standards.

ServiceNow is collaborating with major industry players—including Accenture, Cognizant, and Deloitte—to expand the ecosystem of AI agents available on the ServiceNow Store. These partners are actively developing and deploying AI-driven solutions tailored to industry-specific challenges, from IT service management to citywide infrastructure optimization.

For example, the City of Raleigh is leveraging ServiceNow AI Agents to modernize municipal services. “We’re dedicated to making AI a key driver in enhancing the lives of our employees and residents—whether through optimizing traffic management or streamlining city operations,” said Mark Wittenburg, CIO of the City of Raleigh.

ServiceNow AI Agents: Available in March 2025

The full suite of ServiceNow AI Agents, including AI Agent Orchestrator and AI Agent Studio, will be available to customers on the ServiceNow Platform starting March 2025. These capabilities will be included at no additional cost for Pro Plus and Enterprise Plus customers, ensuring enterprises can leverage AI-driven automation without added complexity.
