NETGEAR’s exclusive Quad-Band technology and Enhanced Dedicated Backhaul distinguish the Orbi 970 Series from competitors. Utilizing multi-link operation (MLO), the system combines a dedicated 5 GHz band with a 6 GHz band, doubling the connection speed between the router and satellites and achieving a 10 Gig wireless backhaul. The Smart Connect feature intelligently selects the fastest WiFi band for each device.

The router includes a 10 Gig internet port, one 10 Gig, and four 2.5 Gig Ethernet ports, ensuring the fastest speeds available. The new cylindrical design of the routers and satellites optimizes performance while maintaining a slim profile that fits seamlessly into any home decor. The system features 12 high-performance internal antennas with high-powered amplifiers for full 360-degree coverage.

The NETGEAR Orbi app facilitates easy setup of the router and satellites and offers remote network management capabilities.

The Orbi 970 Series mesh system (3-pack) covers up to 10,000 square feet, 10% more than the Orbi 960 Series, and supports up to 200 devices.
