Nikon Singapore Pte. Ltd. introduces the Z f, a mirrorless camera that seamlessly marries heritage-inspired aesthetics with state-of-the-art performance.

Push boundaries, express individuality

The Z f is equipped with a dedicated monochrome selector, empowering users to create captivating monochromatic photos and videos. Offering “Flat Monochrome” and “Deep Tone Monochrome” settings in addition to the conventional “Monochrome” option, users can focus on capturing scenes with unique light and shadow interplay. This feature opens up a wide range of creative possibilities, from landscapes to portraits and street photography.

Capture stills and videos as you imagine them with the Picture Control and Creative Picture Control functions. These functions allow users to express the mood, temperature, and atmosphere of their subject through color. Wedding and portrait photographers will appreciate the new Rich-tone portrait setting, delivering rich tones while preserving skin details. With 20 Creative Picture Control and 11 Picture Control options, users can view real-time effects through-the-lens images.

New expressions, expand possibilities

The Z f excels in video performance, enabling the authentic production of stills and videos. Offering H.265 10-bit in-camera recording and N-Log/HLG recording support, the camera delivers accurate depictions of subjects with intricate details. Users can shoot with minimal equipment, eliminating the need for an external recorder. With up to 125 minutes of 4K UHD/60p video recording, the Z f ensures extended video capabilities. Additionally, it supports 6K oversampling for high-resolution videos. The Video S mode provides control over auto exposure, especially beneficial in varying brightness conditions.

Introducing pixel-shift shooting, a groundbreaking feature with the Z f. This allows for capturing high-definition images of detailed subjects, enhancing resolution and color reproduction while reducing moiré and noise.

Advanced functionality, exceptional optical performance

The Z f offers superior AF performance with 3D-tracking in photo mode and subject-tracking in video mode. Enhanced tracking capabilities make it easier to capture moving subjects, including pets and vehicles. The AF can detect human faces as small as 3%, making it the world’s smallest face detection. It excels in low-light situations, enabling focusing down to -10 EV.

The camera features a wider range coverage and an increased number of focus points for precise and quick composition. With EXPEED 7, users can capture dark scenes with reduced noise even at higher ISO sensitivities.

The Z f boasts enhanced VR performance, with 8.0 stops of in-camera Vibration Reduction. Additionally, focus point VR minimizes blur near the focus point, expanding shooting possibilities.

Sophisticated design, effortless operability

With a glossy black finish on a magnesium body, the Z f exudes sophistication. Its ergonomic grip ensures a comfortable hold, especially when using FX lenses. The camera introduces a Vari-angle monitor, providing flexibility for composing shots at various angles. It also offers touch-operation for easy settings adjustments.
