The new OPPO Reno phone is made for the innovative creator of today, all ready to capture the best moments of life. To provide a face and voice to this new generation of creators, OPPO has launched the OPPO Makers initiative.

The OPPO Makers initiative will see the group of curated local creators working with OPPO to build and cultivate a community of creators looking to find new ways to express themselves. It aims to inspire a new generation of creative trendsetters, as well as tastemakers with a passion for self-expression and imagining the unimaginable.

“Singapore is a key market for OPPO, and we want to build a special relationship with Singaporeans through the OPPO Makers,” said Mr Peter Huang, President of APAC, OPPO, “With Reno, we want to challenge Singaporeans to step out of their comfort zone to experience new things.”

The OPPO Makers, made up of dance choreographer Gin Lam (@ginlam), e-sports player Nash Nizam (@RevoGamingNash) from Team Flash (@teamflashsea), visual artist Tiffany Lovage (@lovage), and photographer Jovin Yong (@jovinycl) will be creating a body of work with the Reno phones, as well as content that will be showcased across both their individual and OPPO’s social media channels.

“The new generation is constantly trying to find ways to express themselves through different channels and mediums. I am pleased to be part of the OPPO Makers ensemble to share my works of art to help and guide them find their own unique identity,” said Tiffany.

They will also each be hosting a series of monthly workshops from May to August 2019 as part of the launch campaign. Gin will kickstart the monthly workshop with a dance video creation workshop, followed by an e-sports mobile gaming clinic in June with Nash from Team Flash, illustration workshop with Tiffany in July, and finally a night photography workshop with Jovin in August.
