Chef-in-Box VendCafé by JR Group has announced that its range of Ready-To-Eat (RTE) bento meals, including the Full Korean World Chef Series, is now available at more than 300 locations island-wide. It currently has over 20 product variants in FairPrice and Cheers, and more than 35 products on online platforms. The easy-meal provider is also offering its food services to hotels, restaurants and caterers as well.

Coinciding with their announcement, Chef-in-Box VendCafé also introduced their latest range of ready meals by award-winning Chef-in-Box Chef Series’ Chef Kim Dong Suk, the youngest-ever president and jury member of the Bocuse d’Or, one of the most prestigious cooking competitions in the world.
The new Korean selection includes JJajang-Myun, Korean Beef Short Ribs, Braised Mackerel and Dak Kanjang.
Come end July; the Korean meals will also be available to food services in1kg food-service packs for easy preparation.
Director and Chief Operating Officer of the JR Group, Tony Chng said:

The Chef-in-Box World Chef Series cuisines are curated by internationally renowned chefs namely,
- Satish Arora, The Godfather of Indian Cuisines who was inducted in the Indian Culinary Association’s Hall of Fame;
- Chef Jeeraphon Ritthep, Gold Medal Award Winner of World Gourmet Master Chefs Championship 2016 in Hong Kong; and
- Chef Kim Dong Suk, Korean’s multi-award chef and a Jury Member of the World Association of Cooks Society (WACS)
It’s highlighted that all ingredients for the meals are specifically imported according to the requirements of the respective Chefs to ensure that the bento meals taste as close to the freshly whipped up meal as possible.
Chef-in-Box VendCafé currently has ten outlets in Singapore where eight operate 24/7 except Ang Mo Kio and Lakeside MRT outlets.
