LINE Corporation is launching its cryptocurrency exchange, BITBOX, this month and will be offering more than 30 highly sought after cryptocurrencies.
The cryptocurrencies on offer include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, and Litecoin, with low trading fees of only 0.1 per cent.
Chief Executive Officer of LINE Corporation, Idezawa Takeshi said:
“As a key part of LINE’s new financial services, BITBOX shows our commitment to fulfilling the growing demand for more diverse financial options.”
According to LINE Corporation, the coins on offer were screened extensively by BITBOX, and selected by an internal committee to “offer the most reliable and safest trading for users.”
Idezawa said: “With BITBOX, LINE users will be able to access cryptocurrencies more easily, while also being assured of state-of-the-art security measures to protect their assets.”
The said more than 30 cryptocurrencies on offer on BITBOX would be available for global users, except in Japan and the United States, with support in 15 languages.
