Honor has announced the release of the Honor 7S in Singapore and you can pre-order yours from now till 20 June on Shopee!

Honor has made quite a name for itself not only in Southeast Asia but Europe as well. Most of its recent smartphones were sold out within minutes of launch.

For the Honor 7S, we are looking at an affordable entry-level smartphone that comes with all your necessary features without breaking your bank. It sports a 5.45″ Honor FullView Display, 2GB of RAM, a 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 256GB).

The smartphone also runs on Android Oreo 8.1, which is a surprise for us.

Powering the smartphone is a Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 processor, a PowerVR GE8100 GPU and a 3,020 mAh non-removable battery, which should be sufficient for one or two days of use based on the chips onboard.

The Honor 7S also has a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera with a smart LED Selfie-light. Do not set your expectation too high as, once again, it is an entry-level smartphone.

For consumers who operate in a noisy environment where they need to speak on their phone most of the time, the Honor 7S has a larger receiver volume, which allows it to detect and adjust the volume of the receiver according to the noise level of the environment.

The retail price for the Honor 7S is at S$129 and is available in Black and Gold colour variations. As I said, it’s an affordable smartphone.

After the pre-order period, you can start making your purchase of the Honor 7S directly from Shopee as they are the only platform selling it exclusively. For the first 20 customers who make their purchase of the smartphone, they can get a complimentary 16GB Kingston SD Card. New Shopee customers can also get S$7 off their first purchase (min. spend $15) with the promo code HONOR7S.

So if you are looking to buy a cheap and basic smartphone, maybe for travel purposes, you can take a look at the Honor 7S.
