Tourego – The First Mobile Tourist Tax Refund Solution

There’s a new app in town that will save you from the long, torturous queue to get your tax refund, and it is called Tourego.

Tourego is the “world’s first mobile tourist tax refund solution, and the only Singaporean tax refund company.” Users can use the mobile app to take photos of their receipts and store them in an e-wallet, which makes it easier for the users to keep track of their refund tickets.

The app also provides tourists latest information on shopping, food and travel tips on Singapore. There are currently more than 100 retailers collaborating with Tourego, and the retailer network coverage is expected to rise in the coming months.

The local company has chosen Singapore as its first market to launch its app. However, it is only available for non-Singaporeans (eligible tourists for tax refund) to register for an account.
