Nintendo will no longer be producing the NES Classic Edition, which allows you to play old school games such as the Super Mario, Contra, Donkey Kong and etc. (Oh man! These games are legendary!)
The reason behind Nintendo’s decision is unclear. It could be because of supply issues, high-production cost or they simply want the division in-charge of the NES to focus on making Switch more irresistable.
Since the news of the discontinuation, reports have emerged that consumers are paying more to get themselves a NES. According to Polygon, some consumers are paying almost six times more just to get the plug-and-play system before it’s gone.
So what do you think of Nintendo’s move? Are they nuts or are they coming up with something better?
