Criteo has reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of $416 million, driven in part by rapid growth in its advertising integration with ChatGPT and the start of a global rollout for its connected TV (CTV) offering.
Key Takeaways
- Criteo’s Q3 2026 revenue reached $416 million, with $240 million in Contribution ex-TAC (net revenue).
- Its ChatGPT Ads integration expanded from 7 countries to 89 in just three months.
- A Turkish Airlines campaign using Criteo’s Prompt Smart Ads drove a 183% increase in site landings from ChatGPT Ads.
ChatGPT Ads expand from 7 countries to 89
Criteo’s integration with OpenAI’s ChatGPT Ads has scaled from seven countries to 89 in three months, with average spend per client increasing modestly over the same period. The company says its commerce audience data is the main differentiator, paired with a feature called Prompt Smart Ads that tailors ad messaging to the intent people express in their conversations.
A campaign for Turkish Airlines using Prompt Smart Ads generated a 183% increase in site landings from ChatGPT Ads and 15% more time spent per visit, according to Criteo.
CTV goes global, starting in Latin America
Building on early traction in the US, Criteo is taking its Performance CTV offering into Brazil and Mexico by the end of 2026, with Canada, the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Australia and other markets to follow in 2027. The company says its opportunity pipeline for CTV has doubled over the past three months as advertiser demand and repeat spending grow.
Retail media holds steady despite client losses
Retail Media Contribution ex-TAC came in at $51 million, up 10% year-on-year once two previously announced retailer scope reductions are excluded. Performance Media Contribution ex-TAC was $189 million, reflecting continued headwinds from a handful of large enterprise clients even as the broader client base held steady.
New retail partners onboarded during the quarter include ONIGO in Japan, Adore Beauty in Australia and PayU in India. Auction-based display is now live with more than 95 retailers, twice the number at the start of the year, and now accounts for more than half of onsite display campaigns. Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter was $65 million.
Agencies testing Criteo’s AI connections
All major agency holding companies are now testing Criteo’s Model Context Protocol (MCP) capabilities, which connect its reporting, audience creation and campaign operations tools to agencies’ own AI systems. Agency spend has grown 5% year to date, a sign Criteo says reflects demand to combine its commerce data with agency assets.
