Cloudera has launched Cloudera Blueprints, a portfolio of ready-to-deploy AI solutions built with NVIDIA AI Blueprints, as new research finds governance and compliance concerns are holding back returns on AI investment across Asia-Pacific.

Key Takeaways
  • 73% of organisations across Asia-Pacific cite governance and compliance as a constraint on scaling AI, per Cloudera’s State of Enterprise AI 2026 report.
  • Only 28% of organisations say their AI investments currently generate more value than they cost.
  • Cloudera Blueprints combines NVIDIA Agent Toolkit workflows with Cloudera’s data management and governance capabilities for use cases spanning finance, healthcare and telecoms.

Governance gaps are holding back AI returns

Cloudera’s latest State of Enterprise AI 2026 report found that 73 per cent of organisations across Asia-Pacific cite governance and compliance as a constraint on scaling AI, while only 28 per cent say their AI investments currently generate more value than they cost. Cloudera said the gap reflects how difficult it remains to turn promising AI prototypes into production-ready applications when data is spread across complex, regulated environments.

What Cloudera Blueprints offers

Building on Cloudera’s existing Accelerators for ML Projects, Cloudera Blueprints will incorporate NVIDIA AI Blueprints built with NVIDIA Agent Toolkit, running directly on Cloudera AI. The aim is to combine NVIDIA’s reference AI workflows with Cloudera’s data management, security and governance capabilities, so organisations can deploy applications across public cloud, on-premises data centres and the edge without moving sensitive or regulated data.

“Enterprises are eager to move beyond AI experimentation, but turning promising prototypes into production-ready applications remains a challenge, particularly when data is spread across complex environments. With Cloudera Blueprints, we’re closing that gap by combining proven AI workflows from NVIDIA with the data management, security, and governance capabilities enterprises need to deploy AI at scale,” said Mr Leo Brunnick, Chief Product Officer at Cloudera.

Early use cases across industries

Initial blueprints target financial services, healthcare and telecommunications, including transaction-based foundation models for fraud detection and risk assessment, ambient healthcare agents that turn patient-provider conversations into structured clinical notes, AI agents for telecom network configuration planning, and synthetic video detection tools to support digital trust and identity verification.

“NVIDIA and Cloudera share a commitment to helping enterprises accelerate AI adoption and realize the full value of their investments. By combining NVIDIA’s accelerated computing and AI software stack with Cloudera’s hybrid data platform, we’re making it easier for organizations to deploy AI wherever their data resides, whether in the cloud, on premises, or at the edge,” said Mr Pat Lee, Vice President, Strategic Enterprise Partnerships at NVIDIA.
