Singapore-headquartered Topview AI is expanding its AI video platform from marketing clips into filmmaking. The company launched Film Studio in July 2026 for standalone short films and also offers Drama Studio for episodic stories. It says production teams are now using the tools for online series and at least one feature film.
Topview AI says it has five million registered users, 40% of whom create AI films and dramas, and that about one million videos are generated daily across its tools. These are company figures and were not independently verified.
What Film Studio and Drama Studio do
In Film Studio, a creator starts with a script or idea and uses an AI agent to develop the visual direction. They can then plan shots, build visual references and generate scenes in a shared workspace. Camera framing and movement, 3D shot composition, character expressions and lighting can be adjusted, and parts of generated footage can be revised without rebuilding the whole clip.
Drama Studio handles multi-part stories, covering beat sheets, character personalities, recurring characters, environments and continuity across episodes.
AI series and a feature film
Topview AI says it provides access to its tools and platform credits to collaborating studios, which make their own creative decisions and publish on their own channels. Hieu AI Media used Drama Studio for episodes three and four of its action series Green Lightning, and both passed 200,000 views on YouTube. AZF Studio’s science-fiction series NEON TIDE is another Drama Studio project.
DRagon Studios is using Topview AI in its production workflow and plans a December premiere in London’s West End, followed by a limited UK theatrical release.
Jensen Wu, CEO and co-founder of Topview AI, said the first wave of AI video showed how quickly a clip could be made, and the harder question is whether filmmakers can direct the technology across a complete story. The company acknowledges open issues, including consistency of characters and performances and the rights of creative contributors.
