Singapore-headquartered Toku will host its AI-powered customer experience platform on Core42‘s Sovereign Enabled Public Cloud in the UAE. Toku’s UAE subsidiary signed the agreement with Core42, a G42 company that specialises in sovereign cloud and AI infrastructure, and the company announced it on 8 October 2026.
Toku has begun moving its platform onto Core42’s in-country infrastructure. The aim is to serve UAE government bodies and regulated enterprises that increasingly need their data to stay in the country. Core42’s cloud combines Microsoft Azure infrastructure hosted in the UAE with sovereign controls, governance and compliance monitoring.
Singapore government cloud experience travels to the UAE
Toku is leaning on its Singapore public-sector record. It delivered the first large-scale contact centre on Singapore’s Government on Commercial Cloud for the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS), with AI transcription and summarisation supporting agents and supervisors. The company says the Core42 agreement gives it a base to apply that experience to public-sector institutions in the UAE.
Founder and CEO Thomas Laboulle said Abu Dhabi “has chosen the path Singapore took,” with government services on hyperscale cloud under sovereign controls. He added that the agreement lets public-sector and regulated customers adopt Toku’s platform without compromising on where their data sits.
Middle East expansion since December 2025
Toku says its coverage in the Middle East has grown from two to eight markets since December 2025. In September 2026 it announced its UAE subsidiary and an Arabic-language AI partnership with SESTEK. The company is also taking part in several public-sector tenders in the region with partners. It did not name the tenders or give financial terms for the Core42 agreement.
