OneByZero Raises US$20 Million to Scale Enterprise AI

Singapore-headquartered AI deployment company OneByZero (OBZ) has raised US$20 million in a Series A round led by Jungle Ventures, its first external funding. The money will go towards expanding its enterprise AI work across Asia Pacific.

OBZ said it has more than doubled revenue every year for the past three years, deploying AI inside large, regulated enterprises in financial services, telecommunications and retail. Some of its deployments now automate more than 90 per cent of certain customer-facing interactions and speed up complex data modernisation by 50 per cent, according to the company.

Japan next as OBZ expands across Asia Pacific

OBZ operates in nine markets: Australia, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, the US and Vietnam. Japan is set to be its next. The funding will also go towards growing its forward-deployed engineering teams, moving into conglomerates, healthcare and the public sector, and building out its NEO platform and AI Coworkers.

NEO is OBZ’s AI deployment platform. Companies use it to define what AI is allowed to do and where human judgement is required, with a record of every agent action. AI Coworkers are governed AI agents with defined roles and controls.

“The value comes when it runs inside the systems that run the business,” said Niket Vaidya, CEO and co-founder of OneByZero.

Yash Sankrityayan, managing partner at Jungle Ventures, said OBZ stood out because it is already delivering measurable results inside large organisations, which puts it in a strong position as enterprises across Asia Pacific and Japan move AI into core operations.
