giga!, StarHub’s digital mobile brand, has partnered with the MILK (Mainly I Love Kids) Fund to give more than 2,000 scholars aged 17 to 25 a complimentary one-year gigaFLEX+ plan worth $19.90 a month, bundling 5G connectivity with access to leading AI models.
The sponsorship, valid for one year from each scholar’s activation date, pairs 5G data with a gigaAI subscription giving access to ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini, a package giga! values at over $150 a month.
Closing the AI access gap for young people

The partnership is framed as addressing unequal access to AI tools among young people navigating school, work and everyday life, at a time when familiarity with such tools is increasingly tied to educational and career opportunity.
“Connectivity and AI are increasingly shaping how young people learn, discover opportunities and engage with the world around them. We want to help ensure that access to these tools is not determined by circumstance,” said Vikas Chanani, Vice President, Multibrand and MVNO Partnerships, StarHub.
MILK Fund sees it as a poverty-cycle intervention
MILK Fund, which supports children and youth facing adversity since 2004, said the partnership reflects its focus on plugging gaps in the social service sector rather than duplicating existing services.
- More than 2,000 MILK Fund scholars aged 17 to 25 eligible
- One year of 5G connectivity plus gigaAI access to ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini
- Package valued at over $150 per month, sponsored free for scholars
“At MILK, we believe education remains one of the sharpest tools we have to break the cycle of poverty… Our role is to plug gaps, remove barriers and create access,” said Suraj Upadhiah, Executive Director of MILK Fund.
