Insta360 Launches X6 Flagship 360 Camera In Singapore

Insta360 has launched the X6, its new flagship 8K 360 camera, marking what the company calls the biggest update to its X series to date and a decade-milestone flagship for the brand. The camera is now available in Singapore from S$939.

X6 pairs larger dual Sony 1/1.1-inch sensors with a triple AI chip setup, delivering what Insta360 says is 500 per cent more computing power than its predecessor, the X5. Insta360 currently holds 71 per cent value share of the global panoramic camera market, according to IDC’s Worldwide Quarterly Handheld Smart Camera Tracker Report for the first quarter of 2026.

Three cameras in one body

The camera switches between three modes: a full 360 capture at native 8K50fps, a subject-tracking flat 4K mode powered by InstaFrame 2.0, and a traditional single-lens action camera mode at up to 5K60fps. Insta360 says the design is intended to replace the need to carry a separate 360 camera, gimbal and action cam.

“X6 is the camera we always wanted to build. It captures everything around you, in any light, and hands you a finished edit before you even reach for your phone,” said JK Liu, Founder of Insta360.

On-device AI editing with PanoMind

X6 introduces PanoMind, which Insta360 describes as the first 360-native AI model built to understand a full spherical scene rather than a flat frame. Trained on more than 10,000 hours of footage, its AI Director feature automatically builds a highlight edit from the camera’s footage while it charges, running the analysis on-device rather than in the cloud. A separate cloud-based tool, Moments Pro, is built with Google Gemini and generates edits based on a chosen subject, mood and style.

  • 140 minutes of 8K30fps recording per charge, with fast charging to 80 per cent in 24 minutes
  • Waterproof to 20m bare, or 60m with the optional Invisible Dive Case Pro
  • 47GB of usable built-in storage, allowing SD-card-free shooting
  • Native in-camera Dolby Vision with 10-bit colour

X6 is available via the Insta360 Store, Shopee and Lazada, with the Standard Bundle priced at S$939 and the Essentials Bundle at S$1,039. Buyers who activate the camera before 30 September will receive a year of Insta360+ Premium cloud storage at 500GB.
