Oracle has introduced new Fusion Agentic Applications and AI agents for HR within Oracle Fusion Cloud Human Capital Management (HCM), aimed at helping organisations develop their workforce, strengthen internal mobility and respond faster to emerging skills needs. The new capabilities are built into Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications and connect work, skills, learning and workforce planning to help organisations take earlier, more informed action.
“Too many organizations still rely on talent systems that wait for people to identify problems before taking action,” said Lewis Thompson, Senior Vice President of Applications Development, Oracle.
Coordinated Agents Replace Reactive Talent Systems
The new Fusion Agentic Applications for HR are powered by coordinated teams of specialised AI agents described by Oracle as outcome-driven, proactive, reasoning-based and engineered for enterprise execution. The agents securely access unified enterprise data, workflows, policies, approval hierarchies, permissions and transactional context to make and execute decisions within business processes, while keeping people in control of business-critical decisions.
Many talent systems today remain reactive, leaving job roles and employee profiles outdated as business needs evolve. Oracle’s new capabilities are designed to help organisations:
- Keep job roles and employee talent profiles aligned with changing business priorities
- Guide managers and employees with personalised coaching, learning recommendations and career development plans
- Anticipate skills gaps, strengthen internal talent pipelines and target development investments more effectively
Built for Enterprise-Wide Talent Agility
The capabilities automate routine work and guide talent decisions while securely using enterprise data, workflows and policies already embedded in Oracle Fusion Cloud HCM. Customers can also use Oracle’s AI Agent Studio for Fusion Applications to build additional AI automation and agentic applications tailored to their own HR processes.
Oracle said the new capabilities help organisations adopt a talent agility strategy that continuously connects work, skills, learning and workforce planning, rather than treating talent management as a series of disconnected, periodic exercises.
