StarHub to Move All MyRepublic Mobile Users Onto Its Network

Silver Peak and StarHub Team Up, Enabling Enterprises to Accelerate Digitalisation and Simplify Multi-site Network Management with SD-WAN

StarHub and MyRepublic Group have expanded their partnership so that all of MyRepublic Mobile’s 4G subscribers will move onto StarHub’s network, the two Singapore telecommunications companies announced on 6 August 2026.

The migration builds on an existing MVNO wholesale partnership the companies struck in 2022 covering 5G services, and follows StarHub’s acquisition of MyRepublic Broadband last year. It also mirrors a separate migration of redONE subscribers onto the StarHub network.

Consolidating Singapore’s telecommunications market

StarHub said the move extends its lead as Singapore’s second-largest mobile operator by revenue market share, while advancing a broader consolidation of the country’s telecommunications sector.

“With this step, we further extend material lead in revenue market share as Singapore’s strong number two mobile operator. We have also taken another step toward leading the ongoing consolidation of Singapore’s telecommunications market,” said Nikhil Eapen, Chief Executive Officer, StarHub.

Matt Williams, CEO (designate) and Chief of Consumer Business Group at StarHub, said the migration adds scale to the company’s consumer business alongside the redONE transition, and reflects a multi-brand strategy in which mobile and broadband are offered through distinct brands serving different customer needs.

No action required from customers

MyRepublic said its 4G customers do not need to take any action ahead of the transition. Vaughan Baker, Chief Executive Officer of MyRepublic, said the move brings 4G customers onto the same underlying network already used by MyRepublic’s 5G subscribers.

“The ability to enable our 4G customers to experience a service underpinned by StarHub’s network, just as our 5G customers do today, reflects the further strengthening of the quality of partnership between our two organisations,” said Vaughan Baker, Chief Executive Officer, MyRepublic.

Affected customers will be contacted directly with details of the migration, and dedicated customer support will be available throughout the transition, the companies said.
