Singapore’s iterco Expands to Jakarta with New Creative Hub

Singapore-based game publisher and developer iterco has announced its expansion into Indonesia with the launch of iterhaus, a new creative hub, and Porch, a community café, located in South Jakarta.

The initiative marks iterco’s move beyond game publishing to establish a physical space for creators, founders, developers, brands, and digital communities to connect and collaborate. Since its establishment, iterco has published 10 game titles and earned more than 15 international industry awards and nominations working alongside Southeast Asian studios.

Building a Physical Ecosystem in Jakarta

Located in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, iterhaus offers flexible workspaces, meeting rooms, playtesting facilities, and a hybrid motion capture and podcast studio. Operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the facility is designed to host community programmes, workshops, and networking sessions tailored for digital creators and tech entrepreneurs.

Complementing the workspace is Porch, an onsite community café on the ground floor serving specialty coffee and food. Porch operates daily as an approachable meeting point for remote work, networking, and spontaneous collaboration between members and the public.

“Throughout our journey as a game publisher, we’ve had the opportunity to work closely with game developers across Southeast Asia, and one thing became increasingly clear is we wanted to give back by helping strengthen the creative ecosystem here in Indonesia,” said Matthew Quek, CEO and Co-Founder of iterco. “We realised that there was a strong need for a common central hub where developers could meet, share ideas, showcase their work, and build meaningful relationships.”

Supporting Regional Creative Expansion

Indonesia boasts one of Southeast Asia’s fastest-growing creative sectors. While digital tools enable cross-border remote work, iterco noted that physical interaction remains crucial for early-stage ideation, project partnerships, and long-term ecosystem growth.

Beyond the gaming industry, iterhaus and Porch are structured to accommodate freelancers, designers, artists, students, and startups across Indonesia’s broader technology and creative economy.
