Databricks has appointed Corrie Briscoe as Vice President of Partnerships and Alliances for Asia Pacific and Japan (APJ), tasking her with expanding the data and AI company’s regional partner ecosystem.

Based in Singapore, Briscoe will work with cloud providers, systems integrators, independent software vendors and technology partners to help organisations scale data and AI applications, analytics and agents across the region. She joins Databricks from Amazon Web Services, where she led the APJ Partner Core organisation, and previously held partner leadership roles at Microsoft and Cisco across 30 years in the field.

Scaling a fragmented, fast-growing market

The appointment comes as organisations across APJ increase investment to unlock agentic AI, a shift that requires partners able to navigate the region’s fragmented data environments, shortage of AI-ready talent, and the governance and controls needed to deploy AI confidently across different regulatory regimes. Databricks has also recently introduced the Brickbuilder Partner Network, a global programme rewarding partners for turning complex implementations into business impact. The company now works with more than 8,000 partners globally, including over 1,000 across APJ.
