vivo has launched the Y31s 5G in Singapore, positioning the mid-range handset around display clarity, drop and water resistance, and battery longevity. The launch comes alongside promotional pricing on the flagship X300 series, giving budget-conscious buyers a fresh entry point and existing flagship shoppers a discount through July.
The vivo Y31s 5G is priced at S$399 for the 6GB+256GB configuration and is available in Glowing Black and Midnight KL Purple. It can be purchased at the vivo Experience & Service Store at 313@somerset, or through Shopee, Lazada, TikTok and other authorised retailers.
Bigger Front Camera and Brighter Display
The Y31s 5G’s headline upgrade is its 32MP front camera, a substantial jump from the 8MP selfie shooter on its predecessor. It pairs with a 50MP main camera and underwater photography support. The device’s 90Hz FHD display is built for smoother scrolling and improved outdoor visibility, while the 6500mAh BlueVolt battery is engineered for a five-year lifespan, backed by 44W fast charging and reverse charging capability.

Under the hood, the phone runs on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 platform with up to 6GB of extended RAM and 256GB of storage, running vivo’s OriginOS 6. The company says the combination is designed to sustain smooth performance for up to 50 months of everyday use.
Durability Built for Everyday Wear

At 8.39mm thin and roughly 209g, the Y31s 5G carries IP69-rated dust and water resistance along with an SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance certification, aimed at reducing damage from accidental drops and everyday exposure to rain and splashes.
X300 Series Discounts Run Through July
Alongside the Y31s 5G launch, vivo is offering up to S$100 off the X300 (now S$1,199, down from S$1,299) and S$50 off the X300 FE (now S$1,049, down from S$1,099) for the rest of July. Customers trading in an eligible smartphone at the 313@somerset store can also receive an instant valuation to offset the cost of a new device.
The promotions give vivo a two-pronged play in the Singapore market this month: a new budget 5G option to widen its entry-level base, and sharper pricing on its imaging-focused flagship line to keep X300 momentum going.
