Aolani, Rafay Deploy Early NVIDIA DSX OS in Singapore

Singapore-founded neocloud Aolani has partnered with Rafay Systems to deploy what the companies describe as one of the industry’s first implementations of NVIDIA DSX OS running on NVIDIA GB200 NVL72 infrastructure.

The collaboration, announced on 27 July, pairs Aolani’s AI cloud infrastructure with the Rafay Platform’s orchestration and governance tools, aiming to move enterprise and cloud providers beyond simply deploying GPU capacity towards operating production-ready AI platforms.

Addressing the Software Layer

The companies said the deployment simplifies infrastructure bring-up, automates lifecycle management and enforces enterprise governance, giving developers immediate access to production-ready AI environments for model development, training and inference.

“Aolani has always been committed to delivering faster time-to-value for our customers,” said Nicholas Chia, chief executive officer of Aolani. “Our customers are at the bleeding edge of AI development, and they need to provision, govern, and scale from day one in an industry that moves at lightning speed.”

A Regional AI Infrastructure Push

Founded in Singapore in 2023, Aolani builds AI infrastructure for enterprises, AI-native companies and sovereign operators across Asia. The partnership reflects a broader shift in the region’s AI infrastructure market, where operators are increasingly focused on the software layer needed to turn raw GPU capacity into commercially viable services.

“AI infrastructure has entered a new phase,” said Haseeb Budhani, chief executive officer and co-founder of Rafay Systems. “The question is no longer how quickly organisations can deploy GPUs. It’s how quickly they can transform that infrastructure into a governed, self-service platform that developers can use and operators can manage at scale.”

The deployment enables organisations to provision Kubernetes clusters, virtual machines, AI workspaces and inference environments through a self-service interface while maintaining centralised governance and policy enforcement.
