JBL has brought its all-new Summit Everest and Summit K2 flagship loudspeakers to Asia-Pacific for the first time, launching at StereoNET Asia 2026 in Singapore through local distributor Sound Gallery by IMS, following their world debut at HIGH END Vienna earlier this year.
The two loudspeakers mark the fifth generation of JBL’s “Project” lineage — a designation the brand has used just five times across its 80-year history, reserved for what it calls its most technically demanding acoustic engineering efforts. They join Summit Makalu, Summit Pumori and Summit Ama to complete a five-model Summit Series.
“For 80 years, JBL has been defined by an uncompromising pursuit of acoustic excellence, and the Project loudspeakers have always represented the absolute summit of that pursuit,” said David Tovissi, Vice President & GM, HARMAN Luxury Audio.
Engineering highlights
Summit Everest, the flagship model, pairs three patented compression drivers with dual 15-inch woofers for a 3.5-way design spanning 20Hz to beyond 23kHz. Summit K2, the more compact 3-way model, continues the K2 lineage first introduced in 1989. Both use JBL’s Hybrid Carbon Cellulose Composite cone material and a newly developed MultiCap crossover network designed to reduce distortion.
Pricing and availability

Summit Everest is priced at S$199,000 per pair, and Summit K2 at S$139,000 per pair. Both are available in Singapore from 10 July 2026, exclusively through Sound Gallery by IMS showrooms at The Adelphi and T-Space Tampines.
