Rubrik has launched two agentic AI products at its Rubrik Forward 2026 event, positioning itself as the first cyber resilience vendor to offer autonomous recovery capabilities alongside a purpose-built backup and governance layer for organisations deploying Anthropic’s Claude Code.
The first announcement, Rubrik AI, introduces agentic-first experiences across Rubrik’s platform. Rather than requiring security teams to manually configure recovery workflows, Rubrik AI allows organisations to define desired outcomes and lets the system reason and act autonomously to deliver cyber resilience at machine speed. The company says the product is designed to address the dual pressures facing APAC security teams — accelerating AI adoption and widening talent shortages — by enabling full auditability alongside autonomous action.
Rubrik Agent Cloud for Claude Code
The second announcement targets the fast-growing cohort of enterprises deploying Claude-powered agents. Rubrik Agent Cloud (RAC) for Anthropic’s Claude Code monitors how Claude agents behave, backs up their actions, and can reverse unintended operations — providing a governance and recovery layer for agentic workflows that have, until now, lacked enterprise-grade rollback capabilities.
The two products together mark Rubrik’s move from a backup and recovery vendor into what it describes as agentic cyber resilience — a category centred on securing not just data and infrastructure, but the AI agents increasingly operating within them.
“APAC organisations are rapidly adopting AI, but many still lack full visibility and control over how AI operates in their environments. Security teams are also already stretched by talent shortages. To help organizations keep pace, Rubrik AI acts autonomously with full auditability. Our Rubrik Agent Cloud for Claude Code helps organisations govern, rewind and recover from AI agent actions and their possible disruptions,” said Ananth Nag, General Manager and Vice President, Asia Pacific, Rubrik.
Rubrik did not disclose pricing or regional availability timelines for either product at the time of announcement.
