Sophos Names Amy Chua to Lead ASEAN and Korea Channel Strategy

Sophos has appointed Amy Chua as Director, Channels for ASEAN and Korea, tasking her with accelerating partner-led growth across the region as the cybersecurity firm deepens its channel-first strategy.

Chua joins from Google, where she held leadership roles in sales strategy and channel development. She brings more than 20 years of experience in the technology sector, including prior roles at Microsoft. In her new position, she will lead Sophos’ multi-market channel team across ASEAN and Korea, with a mandate to strengthen distributor and partner relationships, improve sales governance, and scale go-to-market execution.

Focus on AI-Driven Security and Data-Led Defence

Sophos has indicated that Chua’s background in data and analytics will be applied to expanding the company’s presence in the AI-driven security segment, helping partners navigate increasingly complex threat environments. The appointment reflects growing investment by cybersecurity vendors in regional channel infrastructure as AI-enabled threats raise the stakes for partners and end customers alike.

“ASEAN and Korea remain important growth markets for Sophos, and our partners play a central role in how we scale and deliver stronger cybersecurity outcomes for customers. We are delighted to welcome a leader of Amy’s calibre to the team.”
— Chad Cleevely, Senior Director, Channel Sales, Asia Pacific and Japan, Sophos
