Chinese smartphone maker vivo has launched the X300 Ultra in Singapore, marking the handset’s first international debut outside China. The device centres on a four-camera system built around a ZEISS Master Lenses Collection, positioning it at the top end of the mobile imaging market.
ZEISS optics across four focal lengths
The X300 Ultra carries three fixed prime lenses — 85 mm, 35 mm, and 14 mm — each paired with a dedicated sensor. The 85 mm ZEISS Gimbal-Grade APO Telephoto Camera uses a 200 MP sensor with 3° gimbal-level optical image stabilisation, while the 35 mm Documentary Camera is built around a Sony LYTIA 901 sensor with a 1/1.12-inch sensor size. The 14 mm ultra wide-angle camera offers what vivo describes as main-camera-grade optical quality.

Two optional telephoto extenders expand reach further. The vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra — making its global debut alongside the X300 Ultra — brings effective focal length to 400 mm equivalent and supports 200 MP optical output. A second extender reaches 200 mm equivalent at a lighter 153g, down from 210g in the previous generation.
Video and colour pipeline
Video recording is supported at 4K 120 fps in both 10-bit Log and Dolby Vision formats across all rear cameras. vivo has also introduced what it calls a new Color Science system, anchored by a 5 MP multispectral sensor with 12 colour channels designed to analyse ambient light per-pixel. The 2K ZEISS Master Color Display supports 4,500 nits local peak brightness and a full 10-bit HDR pipeline.
Hardware and availability
The X300 Ultra is powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, paired with vivo’s proprietary VS1+ imaging processor. A 6,600 mAh battery supports 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. The device carries IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings.
Pre-orders opened on 30 April via Shopee, Lazada, TikTok, and authorised retailers including Challenger, Best Denki, Courts, Harvey Norman, Gain City, and Popular. The X300 Ultra goes on sale from 9 May 2026 in two configurations:
