PDG Acquires 240 MW Jakarta Site, Lifting Indonesia Footprint to 400 MW

Rimini Street Announces Global Availability of Application Management Services for Oracle Database and Applications

Princeton Digital Group (PDG) has acquired a new hyperscale data centre site in Greater Jakarta, adding 240 MW of planned capacity and bringing its total portfolio in Indonesia to 400 MW.

The site, designated the JC4 campus, is located within the Greenland International Industrial Center (GIIC) in Bekasi Regency — approximately 1.7 km from PDG’s existing JC3 campus. The proximity is designed to enable shared power and connectivity infrastructure across both sites. The JC4 campus spans 106,217 sq. m. and will comprise four data centre buildings of 60 MW each. Construction has already commenced.

Jakarta as a critical AI infrastructure market

The acquisition positions PDG to capture growing demand for cloud and AI workloads in one of Southeast Asia’s largest and fastest-expanding digital markets. Indonesia’s data centre sector has attracted significant investment from global hyperscalers in recent years, driven by the country’s large internet user base and government digitalisation initiatives.

PDG said the JC4 campus will support high-density computing and advanced cooling systems. The company has also implemented on-site solar deployments and refrigerant management programmes across its Indonesia operations as part of its sustainability commitments.

Indonesia continues to be a key market for digital infrastructure in the region, and JC4 builds on our established portfolio to deliver reliable, scalable capacity that supports cloud and AI workloads. — Rangu Salgame, Chairman, CEO and Co-Founder, PDG

Part of a wider Asia expansion

PDG designs, builds and operates hyperscale data centres across seven countries in Asia, with a portfolio exceeding 1.8 GW. The company is headquartered in Singapore and has operations across Japan, India, Indonesia, China, Malaysia and South Korea.

The JC4 announcement follows a period of rapid regional expansion as data centre demand accelerates across Asia, driven in large part by enterprise AI adoption and the infrastructure requirements of large language model deployment.
