Razer Breaks the 2mm Barrier with Its Thinnest Glass Mouse Mat

Razer has announced the Atlas Pro, a glass gaming mouse mat the company says is the world’s thinnest of its kind, measuring 1.9mm across its full construction — including the rubber base — with the glass layer itself at 1.1mm.

Engineering a Sub-2mm Glass Surface

The Atlas Pro crosses what Razer describes as a meaningful threshold: no glass gaming mouse mat has previously reached sub-2mm total thickness, based on internal tests and publicly available specifications as of 21 April 2026. The reduced height is designed to bring the mouse surface closer to the desk, enabling a more natural wrist posture during extended sessions and minimising the height difference between the desk surface and the mouse mat.

Design Philosophy

“The Atlas Pro was an opportunity to challenge ourselves in a category that had largely stood still,” said Charlie Bolton, Global Head of Design at Razer. The company’s stated intent was to create a surface that integrates more seamlessly into modern desk setups while maintaining the stability and durability expected of glass mouse mats.

Pricing and Availability

The Razer Atlas Pro is priced at S$209 and is available now at Razer.com, Razer Stores, and select retailers worldwide. As a Singapore-headquartered company with its SEA headquarters at one-north, Razer’s product launches carry natural regional relevance.
